Guest Walks Off ENT Set

Apparently found playing Vulcans just a bit too difficult

It appears that someone has been taking acting lessons from Genevieve Bujold.

Just as that actress walked off the set of "Star Trek: Voyager" after being cast as Capt. Kathryn Janeway, it appears a guest actor couldn't take the pointed ears and lack of emotion, and walked off the set of "Enterprise" during filming earlier this year.

The episode, "Fusion," aired a couple months ago, and actor Conner Trinneer (Cmdr. Trip Tucker) recently shared the story with DreamWatch Magazine.

"He comes in and we do the first scene, and he's fine," Trinneer said of the actor. "We do another scene, he's fine. We go to the last scene of the day, we've been there all day long rehearsing for the camera, saying our lines, setting it all up -- then he leaves. And he doesn't come back.

"We come back after rehearsal, where's the guy? He took off, took his wig off, plucked off his Vulcan ears, tossed them in a trash can, and went home."

The departure forced the "Enterprise" crew to delay production over the weekend to recast the part.

"This had never happened before on Star Trek. I don't know how much it costs for a day, but it's hundreds of thousands of dollars. We had to recast it over the weekend and reshoot everything."
