'Buffy' Still Being Slammed
Ratings continue to slip for the UPN series
The WB continues to get revenge on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as the network beat the show again in Nielsen Overnight Metered Market ratings for Tuesday night.
"Buffy," which began the first part of a four-episode arc leading to the end of the sixth season, scored a 3.8 rating/6 share, more than 21 percent less than the audience pulled in by "Gilmore Girls" (4.6/7) at the same time. "Smallville" on The WB did even better with a 5.1/7, handily beating "Roswell" on UPN, which earned a 2.4/3.
For the night, UPN finished dead last with a 3.1/5. They were beat by CBS (9.3/14), ABC (8.9/13), NBC (7.6/11), Fox (5.7/8) and The WB (4.8/7).
