Whether you were planning to cheer or sneer at the screen, it is not clear at this point if you will be able to do either. Wesley Crusher was slated to make a guest appearance in the next Trek movie "Star Trek: Nemesis" but the scene may hit the cutting room floor. Wes was to appear in a wedding scene at the start of the movie.

Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) was about as confused about whether he would make it into the final cut as his Internet fans. At his official website he stated, "I spoke with my manager, and he made some calls about Trek X. The word is that it's too early to know if I'm out or not, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to cut my scene, so this may turn out to be a stupid Internet rumor. I am grateful that I have good people working for/with me, who care about my career as much as I do."

"Nemesis" is due out during the 2002 holiday season.
