UPN gave some brief insight recently into the season (and series) endings of three of its science fiction and fantasy shows which include death, romance and a return home.

Warning ... possible spoilers ahead.

In "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," which will air its two-part season finale May 21, a four-episode season-ending story arc will leave one of the show's characters dead while another will look go exact revenge on the killer.

Previous reports have that Tara (Amber Benson) will bite the dust while her girlfriend Willow (Alyson Hannigan) will dive deep into dark magic to avenge Tara's death.

On "Enterprise," not much is revealed about its season finale, "Shockwave," which airs May 22, but apparently the Enterprise will be ordered home after the ship is implicated in the destruction of a planet.

This episode also will see the return of FutureGuy and the Suliban, according to previous reports.

Finally, in the series finale of "Roswell," which airs May 14, the fate of aliens Max (Jason Behr), Michael (Brendan Fehr) and Isabel (Katherine Heigl) gets the wraps, as does all the interesting romantic entanglements of Max and Liz (Shiri Appleby) as well as Michael and Maria (Majandra Delfino).
