Buffy's Noxon Gets Series Deal
Executive producer receives three-year development contract for a new series
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" executive producer Marti Noxon recieved a development deal with 20th Century Fox Television for a new drama and comedy series.
This is Noxon's first development contract, who will continue to produce Buffy and serve as a consultant on the spin-off series "Angel," which currently airs on The WB network
Noxon was first hired as a staff writer in 1997 for "Buffy" and just last fall was promoted to executive producer of the series when it made its move from The WB to UPN. After writing more than 20 "Buffy" episodes and directing two, Noxon said she is quite prepared to develop her own series.
