Cameron To Direct Finale
Famed 'Titanic' director to helm the last 'Dark Angel' of the season
James Cameron, best known for directing "The Terminator" movies and "Titanic," will be behind the camera once again ... this time directing the May 3 season finale of "Dark Angel."
The series, which he helped create, has been struggling recently in the ratings in its Friday night slot, but Cameron said his work to direct an episode shows his commitment to the program.
"I believe in our show, and think it is one of the coolest things on network television," Cameron told trade magazine Variety. "I jave wanted to direct an episode for some time, so when our director for the season finale dropped out just as I was completing photography on another project, I seized the moment."
Cameron is currently working on two director projects for 2002: "True Lies 2" and "Ghosts of the Abyss." The former movie will see the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Arnold and Jamie Lee Curtis in the sequel of the 1994 film.
