Improvement In ENT Ratings

Star Trek still not competing too well with Big 3 networks

Although it seems to be holding its own (and almost beating) the Wednesday night comedies on Fox Television, "Enterprise" is still just not moving ahead of the Big-Four networks.

Wednesday's episode, "Sleeping Dogs," which featured the return of the Klingons, pulled in a 5.7 rating/8 share, which beat out "Dawson's Creek" on The WB, which scored a not too shabby 4.0/6.

Barely beating out "Enterprise" was "That '80s Show" and "Grounded For Life" on Fox, which received a 5.6/9 and a 5.4/8 respectively in the Nielsen Overnight Metered Markets. All of these shows were beat out by the ABC comedies "My Wife & Kids" and "According to Jim," which took a 7.4/12 for the hour. CBS was second with an improved "60 Minutes II," that picked up a 7.3/12.

For the night, UPN finished fifth with a 4.3/6, finishing a full ratings point ahead of The WB, which had a 3.3/5. The top networks were NBC (11.1/18), ABC (6.7/11), CBS (6.0/10) and Fox (5.5/9).
