Report says UPN is finally pulling the plug
The end of "Roswell" has finally come?
That's what the fan Web site Crashdown.com is reporting, saying that not only will this be the last season for the show, but that UPN also has cut back its back-order renewal from 20 episodes to 18.
According to the site, anonymous sources reportedly said that the cast was informed of the decision Jan. 28, and that a public announcement should be coming in the near future. Production is expected to wrap in mid-March.
Sci-Fi Wire reported that as of Jan. 28, a UPN spokesman said there was no new news about about the series.
The next original episode, "I Married An Alien," airs Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. ET, and then the series will enter hiatus during February sweeps.
