Odo joins ENT guest list

Rene Auberjonois apparently is making his own waves in Star Trek

First it was Ethan Phillips (Neelix, "Star Trek: Voyager") making an appearance on "Enterprise." Now it appears that yet another Star Trek alum will be making his own appearance on the show.

Rene Auberjonois, best known to Star Trek fans as the shapeshifter Constable Odo in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" as well as Col. West in the 1991 motion picture "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country," is set to appear in the upcoming episode "Oasis."

Not much is known about the new episode except that it starts shooting on Monday, and it's now believed to be the same episode that "Hollywood Squares" host Tom Bergeron said he would appear in. (Previous reports had Bergeron's episode as "Osmosis," but Nanavision said this could've been an error when transcribing what was said on the morning radio show Bergeron appeared on.)

The filming for this episode comes immediately after the episode "Acquisition" was wrapped up this past week, which will mark the first Enterprise encounter with the Ferengi. That episode features Phillips, and also will include an appearance by Jeffrey Combs. Combs, of course, played Weyoun in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," and has since filmed two episodes of "Enterprise" as the Andorian Shran. It is unclear whether he will play one of the Ferengi, or his Andorian character.

"Oasis" is expeted to air in early April.

Please note that none of the above has been confirmed by Paramount Television, so treat it as you would any other rumor.
