OK, if you bought the "Caprica" DVD or watched the online streaming version of the "Caprica" pilot (which you can find by clicking here), then this shouldn't be too new for you.

Daniel Graystone, played by Eric Stoltz, and Joseph Adama, played by Esai Morales, discuss the finer points on if you can be alive, even if you're no more than a series of ones and zeros.

But that is a good point brought up by both sides. Could a soul be recreated from a machine, and if you were going to do that, what kind of consequences will there be?

Of course, I think we already figured that out. Just watch Seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4 of "Battlestar Galactica."

Anyway, be sure you catch the pilot to "Caprica" airing Jan. 22 beginning at 9 p.m. ET on Syfy.
