The crowds might have been cheering on now former Gov. Sarah Palin in her resignation speech, but it's a good bet she didn't get the kind of laughs original Capt. Kirk actor William Shatner did on "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" July 27.

Shatner took on the former Republican vice presidential candidate by showing that he could deliver her farewell speech better than she could.

I mean, this is William Shatner after all.
