What does Hiro, Peter Petrelli, an immortal cheerleader and a carnival have in common?

We hate to ask, but it's a lot of what we'll see on "Heroes" this fall on NBC.

Thousands of people crowded into the Hilton next to the convention center at San Diego Comic-Con to experience the panel that almost didn't happen. And there they got to find out why there was some creepy carnival outside the convention center.

Will this be enough to bring the show that had a critically acclaimed first season come back to the prominence it once had? Only time will tell.
