It's not often that the United States imports a foreign series without recreating it first.
We saw that with "Life on Mars," "Eleventh Hour," "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." You get the idea.
When it came to the very popular BBC series "Merlin," there was no need to recreate it at all. In fact, NBC viewers will get the show just as it aired in Britain without having to worry about all the attempts to Americanize the series.
It starts June 21. It stars Anthony Head (from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fame), Colin Morgan, Bradley James and Angel Coulby.
