There's still no word quite yet on whether or not "Stargate: Universe" is going to be the next 'Battlestar Galactica," but it's looking rather cool!

The latest 45-second trailer released by SciFi Channel (soon to be Syfy) features not only the most detailed view of scenes from the show yet, but also interviews with Robert Carlyle, Lou Diamond Phillips, Brian J. Smith and more.

In fact Smith, who plays Lt. Matthew Scott, told his fans following him on Twitter that he liked the promo, but "promos are always a plate without the meal."

"Stargate: Universe" premieres on Syfy in October, and is currently filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, home of "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis."
