Syfy's 'Warehouse 13'

Show helps launch the network's new name and new look in July

The warehouse Indiana Jones was chased through before he found a refrigerator in order to survive a nuclear blast contained some of the most intriguing objects ever found, including the very Ark of the Covenant he sought in the first film.

But it seems a warehouse like that just wouldn't be left to collect dust. Two Secret Service agents named Myka and Peter, played by Joanne Kelly and Eddie McClintock, are put in charge to retrieve a number of supernatural-like objects so that they can be returned to the warehouse.

The series is one that fans of Jane Espenson from "Battlestar Galactica" and "Dollhouse" fame will enjoy, since her handiwork is all over "Warehouse 13," writing the pilot along with Brent Mote.

Jack Kenny from "The Book of Daniel" will be the showrunner while the producer team includes David Simkins from "Dresden Files," Jace Alexander from "Burn Notice" and Stephen Surkjik from "Monk."

Here is a glimpse into the new show that premieres July 7.
