There are some who are not all that interested in seeing how Scott Peters from "The 4400" fame wants to take on "V," especially since its original creator, Kenneth Johnson, has been trying to put together his own revival for some time.

However, ABC's new series based on the 1980s iconic miniseries has been getting a lot of attention, and features some very familiar faces to genre fans including Morena Baccarin from "Firefly" and "Stargate: Atlantis" as well as Elizabeth Mitchell from "Lost" and Joel Gretsch from "The 4400."

Just like in the original production, Earth's major cities are visited by large space ships all bringing a message of peace. But are these aliens as concerned about humanity as we think? And are they deceiving us in more ways than simply their looks?
