Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher, "Star Trek: The Next Generation"), now that he's been vindicated for the sparring he shared with Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres, "Star Trek: Voyager"), recently shared a contestant's cut of the recent celebrity edition of "The Weakest Link" that aired on NBC Monday night with some fun that didn't make it to the final cut.



"When I ran into [host Anne Robinson] backstage, she was really nice," Wheaton said at his official Web site. She was all smiles, warmly shook my hand, and all that. It was really cool. She even made a comment about how she wasn't supposed to benice to us, and she'd better put on her 'mean' face."



According to Wheaton, William Shatner (Capt. James T. Kirk, "Star Trek") was even more funnier in the scenes that didn't air than the ones that did. In a portion where Robinson asked what Shatner is most famous for, he actually responded originally, "Well, Anne, that's hard to say ...



"Okay, Anne. I know what you want me to do. I know what you want me to say, and I will capitulate. The name of the show that you want me to say is ... 'TJ Hooker.'"



After the audience erupts in laughter, Wheaton said that Robinson responded that that wasn't the show she was going for.



"I'm sorry, Anne," Shatner said. "'Rescue 911?'"



There also was an additional scene between Wheaton and Robinson where the host asked, "Wil, how old are you?" Wheaton said he responded quickly, "How old are you?"



"I'll try this again," Robinson said. "How old are you?"



"I think I'm old enough for you, Anne," Wheaton replied. "But I'm already married. Sorry."



Robinson also commented about Wheaton's shirt with the "mud flap" girls (which, incidentally was a gift to the actor from his wife), asking what the posed women were.



"I'm surprised you don't know, Anne," Wheaton said. "Don't you remember when you posed for this? We were in Vegas, Anne ... remember? We'll always have the Aladdin."



On a side note, Wheaton did talk a little bit about "Star Trek: Nemesis," stating that he underwent his fitting for his dress uniform for the movie Tuesday, which is a bit odd, since Wesley Crusher resigned from Starfleet in the TNG episode, "Journey's End," to go off with the Traveler.



"The fitting today at Star Trek wardrobe was awesome," Wheaton said. "I got to put on the dress uniform, and see Marina (Sirtis, Deanna Troi), and the costume designer, Bob Blackman, who I haven't seen in years. Bob told me that he'd been fitting all the other cast members, and they all told him, independently of each other, that they were excited that I was going to be in the movie. The ones who had seen me all commented to him that I was all grown up, and funny, and doing very well, and all that, he told me.



"It made me feel very good."



Wheaton also said he received his copy of the movie's script, with "Classified" stamped in red on every page.
