'Heroes' Star Ready To Walk?

"Heroes" has certainly struggled since the beginning of its second season last year, but there is still hope that the series will pull a ratings U-turn when Bryan Fuller returns to the show for the tail end of the current third season.

Should the series get the go ahead for a fourth year, though, it could be doing so without one of its biggest stars.

According to E! Online, one unnamed actor is apparently wanting out of the series before the third season reaches its conclusion. The actor is described as someone who has been part of the show since the first season and is upset with the lack of screen time they have received this year. To make way for his/her decision not to return, a death scene has already been written.

The interesting twist? This character also is described as someone who could return even if they were killed off and "has more name recognition than others in the cast." Speculation is now running rampant on who could be so eager to depart the hit show, with Hayden Panettiere, Ali Larter and Masi Oka topping the gossip list.

Of course nothing has been confirmed and so this should be treated as any other rumor.

"Heroes" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
