Oops: Amazon Posts Nearly All 'Battlestar' Webisodes

Can't wait to see how the current "Battlestar Galactica" Webisode series ends? Neither could Amazon.

The media sales company released all except the ninth episode of the current Webisode series on its Web site over the weekend, putting out four of five episodes ahead of its scheduled release.

The Webisodes, written by current "Dollhouse" scribe Jane Espenson, feature Alessandro Juliani as Felix Gaeta and Grace Park as Number Eight (times two), in a separate story following the events of the most recent mid-season finale. The episodes have been released on both SciFi.com and Hulu, and was supposed to have a followup release for free on Amazon.

But at least as of Monday morning, nearly all of the remaining episodes could be found right here.

NBC Universal, which owns SciFi Channel and produced the Webisodes, did not appear to have any comment as of Monday morning, although Airlock Alpha has since requested one. It is possible the studio has no idea the Webisodes were released, and it's likely the mistake could be corrected before the day wears on too much.

In the meantime, some fans have posted copies of the Webisodes to online streaming sites such as YouTube (Airlock Alpha cannot link directly to them because it's not clear if they were posted within copyright regulations or not), but it's not clear how long they may be available there as well.

"Battlestar Galactica" returns Jan. 16 at 10 p.m. ET on SciFi Channel.
