Stephanie Jacobsen, who portrayed Kendra Shaw in "Battlestar Galactica: Razor," is now making things interesting for Derek Reese on Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."
During an interview with SciFi Wire, Jacobsen said that her character Jesse, who has already reconnected intimately with Brian Austin Green's Derek, will be something of a counterpoint to the duty-driven soldier.
"The main thing you'll see about Jesse is the side of her that differentiates her from Derek," she said. "You'll see, I guess, a hedonistic streak in her, a desire to revel for whatever time she's able to in the luxuries of this pre-apocalyptic time. She has obviously come back from the past with a mission."
It's unclear whether John Connor in the future sent her back or if she traveled on her own, but Jesse apparently is up to something.
"She is of course focused, and she has obviously come back from the past with a mission," Jacobsen said."It'll be a while before that all becomes clear."
Now that "Sarah Connor" has received an order for 22 episodes, fans will likely see more of Jesse and what she's up to.
"When I signed on, we weren't sure about the back nine yet, so, yeah, I'm going to be around for a little bit longer," Jacobsen said.
