ENT holds steady, UPN moves up
Overnight ratings create good news for the folks at Paramount
UPN is back in fourth place, and it's with the help of "Enterprise" retaining a good portion of its audience, according to Nielsen overnight metered market ratings for Wednesday night.
"Enterprise" pulled in a 6.4 rating/10 share for LeVar Burton's series directorial debut, "Terra Nova," a very slight dip from last week's 6.6/10 garnered for "Unexpected." The series finished fourth in its 8 p.m. timeslot behind "60 Minutes II" on CBS, "My Wife and Kids" and "According to Jim" on ABC, and "Ed" on NBC.
"Enterprise" beat out "That '70s Show" and "Grounded For Life" on Fox, as well as "Dawson's Creek" on The WB, which tied for a 3.9/6.
UPN moved up one spot during the overnights finishing with a 5.0/7. It finished ahead of both Fox and The WB, which both pulled in a 3.5/5 for a fifth place tie.
NBC, behind powerhouse "The West Wing," took first place with a 12.0/19 with ABC finishing second with a 7.6/12 and CBS third with a 6.4/10.
