Hey, They Cast David Silver On Terminator!
Brian Austin Green definitely can feel what it's like to be typecast in a role as he is with David Silver from the 1990s show "Beverly Hills 90210." And even though he's finding success with a new Fox series, "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," it's still hard for some fans to separate him from the high school kid he once portrayed.
"It was one of those unfortunate situations where after 10 years of watching you, people feel like they're actually friends with you so they can tell you how much you sucked," Green recently told TV Guide. "They can't differentiate between the character and the person."
Green, however, will have to better differentiate his character's mission in the second season of "Sarah Connor" as he works to try and stop judgment day.
"We're finding different people involved with the technology companies and figuring out what steps we have to take to change things," Green said. "It's not like you kill the Terminator and then there's no judgment day. Terminators are being sent back constantly. You never know how many there are with very specific missions."
Green, who went from a recurring character to a series regular in the second season, says he'll burst from the gate in the show's season premiere with plenty of action.
"I have some good gun-firing coming up soon," Green said. "Sniper rifles and stuff like that. The first episode is bad ass! I can't give away any of it. Whatever fans are hoping will happen, magnify that by a thousand."
