Who Do You Think Should Get Nominated?

Yes, believe it or not, it's that time of year again when you, the great reader of Airlock Alpha and amazing television and movie watcher, share who you think should be up for a SyFy Genre Award this year.

The SyFy Genre Award Nominating Committee has been meeting for a few months already, and we're starting to form our lists on who will be featured in this year's awards. But we can't do it without input from you!

That's right. Open up your e-mail box right now, address it to michael@airlockalpha.com.

As always, there are more than a dozen categories you can provide suggestions for. They include Best Actor/Television, Best Actress/Television, Best Supporting Actor/Television, Best Supporting Actress/Television, Best Actor/Movie, Best Actress/Movie, Best Episode/Web, Best Episode/Television, Best Guest Star/Television, Best Series/Television, Best Movie, the Gene Roddenberry Lifetime Achievement Award, and many more.

Remember that to be eligible, among other things, each choice has to have been active between June 1, 2007 and May 31, 2008.

We'll be compiling all the suggestions made by you and sending them to our nominating committee who will take your suggestions into consideration.

Then get ready for June 25 when we launch voting for the SyFy Genre Awards in time for Airlock Alpha's 10th anniversary! You'll be able to vote once per day for 30 days, so get that ballot box ready!

Last year's winners include Joe Flanigan from "Stargate: Atlantis," Amanda Tapping from "Stargate: SG-1" and "Battlestar Galactica."

More information about the awards can be found by click here.
