With the fourth and final season set to debut on SciFi Channel in April, "Battlestar Galactica" composer Bear McCreary is hosting a concert April 13 that will feature music from the past three seasons of the hit show.

Hosted by James Callis, who plays Gaius Baltar in the series, McCreary will perform at the Roxy Theatre on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of CineMedia Promotions, the company that has helped Lala Land Records promote all three albums from the "Battlestar Galactica" soundtrack family.

This isn't the first time McCreary has performed "Battlestar" music live. He took part in a similar event in 2006 to help promote the second season soundtrack from the series.

The stage ensemble will include members of McCreary's former band, Oingo Boingo, along with his brother Brendan who sang "All Along the Watchtower" that ended the third season of "Battlestar Galactica."

McCreary has composed music not just for "Battlestar Galactica," but also for SciFi Channel's "Eureka" and Fox's new series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." He is one of the handful of select proteges of the late composer Elmer Bernstein, and received his music education from the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music.
