Although executive producer Ronald D. Moore had some concerns about whether or not he would be able to finish telling the story about "Battlestar Galactica" during the recent Writers Guild of America strike, but that rhetoric is no longer needed as production is about to resume on the show.

The final handful of episodes for the show's fourth and final season will begin filming at the end of March in Vancouver, B.C., according to the star of the SciFi Channel series.

"We will finish the story, and I think the fans will be satisfied," Edward James Olmos told Airlock Alpha's Michael Hinman.

The fourth season of the show begins airing April 4 on SciFi Channel, moving "Battlestar Galactica" back to its original Friday night timeslot that traditionally had better ratings than the Sunday schedule the show moved to midway through its third season. Half the episodes were filmed before the writers strike shut down production, and work will resume on the final handful of episodes that should keep the show in production through the end of May.

"Battlestar Galactica" returns April 4.
