While there's one thing that could be stopping NBC from continuing "Bionic Woman" (ahem, the ratings), it looks like there is one thing holding Katee Sackhoff to the show if it continues: A six-year contract.

The actress, best known as Starbuck on "Battlestar Galactica," denied to TV Guide recent reports that she was demanding to be removed from the show, or that she had any problems working with show star Michelle Ryan.

"I have no plans to leave 'Bionic Woman,' and Michelle Ryan is doing a great job," Sackhoff said. "There's not one ounce of bad blood between us."

Reports had surfaced online that Sackhoff told fans at a recent convention that she had asked to be let go from her role as Sarah Corvus, the evil bionic woman that challenges Ryan's character of Jaime Sommers. Those reports are just not true, Sackhoff said, and it bothers her that trying to meet with fans would come back and slap her in the face.

"It's sad because you want to connect with the fans, and then they throw it in your face in a negative light," Sackhoff said.

The actress did admit that she was meeting with producers to discuss how her character would evolve in later episodes (and have a stronger presence), but said she was more than interested in continuing to play the role.

Whether or not there will be a "Bionic Woman" for Sackhoff to continue on is another story. NBC picked up other new shows "Chuck" and "Life" for full seasons, but nothing has come down about "Bionic Woman," which has lost more than half the audience that showed up for its premiere in Week 1 of the television season. Various reports have the show already cancelled, and it's likely that Wednesday's episode was an impromptu series finale.

"Bionic Woman" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
