It's not turning out to be a great season for the genre on television.

Fans gave Isaiah Washington a cool reception as audiences fled NBC's "Bionic Woman," forcing it to a 5.5 rating/9 share, according to Fast National ratings from Nielsen Media Research, the show's worst performance so far.

"Bionic Woman" was handedly beat by "Criminal Minds" on CBS and "Private Practice" on ABC in the 9 p.m. ET timeslot. However, it did stomp Fox's "Kitchen Nightmares" and The CW's "Gossip Girls."

The drop marks a loss of almost an entire ratings point from the previous week, and was down almost three ratings point from its series premiere, according to Zap2it. It also lost more than a third of its lead-in show, "Deal or No Deal," which had a 7.8/13 as a lead-in show. "Bionic Woman" was not the network's worst performing program for the night, however, as "Life" at 10 p.m. only managed a 5.0/8.

"Pushing Daisies" is finding a steady audience on ABC in the 8 p.m. hour, finishing behind "Deal or No Deal" with a 6.6/11. That allowed the Bryan Fuller series to finish ahead of "Kid Nation" on CBS, comies on Fox and a strong performance from "America's Next Top Model" on The CW.

For the night, NBC finished third with a 6.1/10 just behind ABC at 7.0/11. CBS won the night with a 7.7/12.

Fast Nationals usually provide a snapshot of what Americans are watching by pulling numbers from the top urban markets that includes both live viewing and same-day timeshifted viewing. A rating point generally represents more than 1.1 million households while the share indicates the percentage of televisions turned on that was tuned to the specific program. These numbers typically shift when final ratings are issued.
