Don't expect to see very much more of "Masters of Science Fiction" on ABC.

The anthology show that has sat on the network's shelf for more than a year, was barely noticed by auiences Saturday night, barely pulling in half the audience of an "America's Funniest Home Videos" rerun in the same timeslot the week before.

While overall overnight numbers weren't available, Nielsen Media Research reported that "Masters" posted a 0.8 rating among adults 18 to 49, a key advertising demographic.

In better ratings news, "Jericho" did a little better as CBS continues to do encore presentations of the show Friday night. The who earned a 2.3 rating/5 share, according to Zap2it, finishing behind "Smackdown" on The CW with a 2.8/6 and "Las Vegas" on NBC.

While "Jericho" did OK for its timeslot, it was still CSB' lowest-rated show for the evening.

CBS won Friday night with a 3.1/7 with NBC following close behind with a 3.0/6. ABC had a 2.7/5 and The CW earned a 2.6/5, and Fox a 2.2/4.

Fast Nationals usually provide a snapshot of what Americans are watching by pulling numbers from the top urban markets that includes both live viewing and same-day timeshifted viewing. A rating point generally represents more than 1.1 million households while the share indicates the percentage of televisions turned on that was tuned to the specific program. These numbers typically shift when final ratings are issued.
