It seems everything on television is moving to the big screen, and apparently, "Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda" is going to be no exception to the rule.



"An Andromeda movie may happen. That's certainly what the studios (Tribune Entertainment) want," series star Kevin Sorbo (Capt. Dylan Hunt) recently told the official European Kevin Sorbo Fan Club in Germany. "They want to follow what 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' did. When that will happen, I don't know."



In the meantime, Sorbo still has four more years of a five-year contract with "Andromeda," and said it's time to give his character a recurring love interest.



"I know there's talk (about) adding another woman to the cast, a love interest for Dylan Hunt, so that may happen," Sorbo said. "I told them it's about time (I) get laid! I said it's only fair if Dylan gets a little action. I mean, Captain Kirk could have sex all the time!



"He's going to have a new love interest, but I don't know when and where that's going to be. I know when we go back to shooting in September, that I will meet somebody. If that will be the woman they bring in for the future episodes, I don't know. I already met somebody in an episode we shot earlier this year. It's our version of the gun fight at the OK Corrall."
