Last chance to look away now.
The final episode of "Battlestar Galactica's" third season will not only provide a conclusion to the Gaius Baltar (James Callis) storyline, but it's going to contain surprises from start to finish. Especially the finish.
If you really don't want to know what happens in "Crossroads, Part 2," then stop reading.
"Crossroads, Part 2" won't just be revealing one member of the Cylons' Final Five -- the rest of the Cylon models that we've been waiting all these years to see -- they will be revealing all of them, the last one in the final minute of the show. Gary Dougall, a longtime reader of Airlock Alpha, says he had a chance to see the final episode and provides some very interesting details on what fans will see.
The music that Tigh (Michael Hogan) heard throughout "Crossroads, Part 1" seems to be everywhere. "Tigh can hear it, and it seems to be driving him nuts," Dougall said. "Tory [the president's aide played by Rekha Sharma) can hear it, too. It's not doing much for her either, though. Anders (Michael Trucco) seems to be acting a bit odd, too, and he hears it."
All three of them decide to go searching for the music and all end up finding themselves in a launch tube. All of them look at each other with shock and confusion in their faces, but a fourth person has joined them, and this person states what they are all thinking:
"It's true! We're Cylons!"
... says Chief Tyrol (Aaron Douglas).
But not everyone is accepting of the new situation, especially when the sudden arrival of the Cylon fleet has everyone heading to battlestations.
"We do our frakking jobs, that's what," Tigh says, according to Dougall. "I am Saul Tigh, XO of this fleet. Whatever else I am, that's the man I want to be."
Lee Adama (Jamie Bamber), despite resigning his commission, is not going to sit on the sidelines during a Cylon attack and jumps in his Viper. He heads out into space only to get a communication himself when he goes to investigate an unknown Dradis contact. Is it someone informing him that he, too, is a Cylon?
"Investigation of this brings us to the last 16, and possibly most important 16 words of the season," Dougall said. They are: "I've been to Earth. I know where it is. And I'm going to take us there."
But the most shocking thing is not the words themselves, but who says them. And it's probably not who you're thinking.
Of course, to find that out along with Baltar's verdict, you'll have to watch the episode Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on SciFi Channel. Don't forget that this episode will run five minutes long, so don't change the channel or keep that DVR running!
Please note that the above has not been confirmed by SciFi Channel and should be treated as any rumor would.
