The upcoming and much anticipated episode of "Smallville" titled "Justice" may lead to a spin-off dealing with other members of the Justice League, according to Comics Continuum.
CW, the network that shows "Smallville," recently aired a trailer for the episode, which Comics Continuum said may "act as a launching pad for a possible series."
"Smallville" producer Al Gough has denied that any League spin-off is underway, however.
A number of DC Comics heroes -- the Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Green Arrow -- are all set to appear in "Justice."
The CW will be showing repeats of "Smallville" featuring DC Comics heroes until the "Justice" episode airs in January, Comics Continuum said.
"Smallville" airs on the CW each Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET.
