Andromeda's run continues
The series gets another renewal from Tribune Entertainment
Despite a ratings drop toward the end of its inaugural season, it looks like there will be plenty of "Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda" around for some years to come.
Executive producer Robert Hewitt Wolfe made the announcement that Tribune Entertainment had renewed the syndicated series during this week's Comic-Con International convention in San Diego.
"Yes, there will be a Season 3," Wolfe told the crowd. "There ill be a Season 4. I will say, this may or may not be an official announcement, but indications are good -- we will do five years."
The syndicated show finished last year as the top-rated first-run syndicated action hour and received an initial two-season commitment by Tribune.
