'Lost' Finds Another New Castaway

SPOLERS: Former "Oz" actor joins crew

The following contains MINOR spoilers for the second season of "Lost."

ABC's hit show "Lost," which follows the adventures of survivors of a plane crash who are stranded on a mysterious island, has added Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as a regular character for the new fall season, according to Digital Spy.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje will play Emeka, who is described by the network as "a mysterious man whose presence on the island -- and intentions -- will be revealed in one of the early episodes in the upcoming second season."

Rumors indicate that Emeka may be part of a group from the plane's tail section who made it through the crash and have been living on another part of the island.

The show's other new cast member, Michelle Rodriguez, who was first seen as Ana-Lucia Cortez in the first season finale, is also expected to be from those newly discovered castaways from Oceanic Flight 815.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who is British, played drug addict Simon Adebisi in the television show, "Oz," a role which earned him nominations for two NAACP Image Awards. His feature film credits include "Congo," "The Mummy Returns" and "The Bourne Identity."

Season two of "Lost" will premiere on ABC on Wednesday, September 19, at 9 p.m.
