Composer Joe Harnell Dead At 80
Credits include scores for "The Incredible Hulk" and "V"
Joe Harnell, composer of scores for such science-fiction television shows as "The Incredible Hulk" "Alien Nation" and "V," passed away on July 14 as a result of heart failure, according to cinescape.com. He was 80.
Born on August. 2, 1924, in New York, Harnell worked in film and television in the late 1940s, where he has composed over 400 hours of original music for motion pictures, and for such television shows as "Santa Barbara," "The Bionic Woman," "The Incredible Hulk," Alien Nation" and "V."

Harnell's web site (www.joeharnell.com) announced the funeral service would be closed to the general public. However, a memorial celebration is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, at Newman Hall on the USC campus.
