RDM excited about Roswell time slot

Roswell got new life with UPN's pickup of the series that was finally cancelled by The WB, who decided enough was enough with the tabasco sauce already. And now that it will move to Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. with a follow-in from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ronald D. Moore -- one of the producers on the show that used to work for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine -- said the new schedule puts the show "in a good place."

"Buffy's a tremendous lead-in for us, that's for certain. We're in the perfect slot in the schedule at the moment."

Moore did confirm two faces we won't be seeing making the big move to UPN, which includes Colin Hanks (ex-Alex), whose character died last season, and Emilie de Ravin (ex-Tess), who left for tghe aliens' home planet in the season finale after discovering she was pregnant.

"We sat down and plotted out the opening episodes for Season 3 before the season was over. The template for what we want to do is where we ended up in the last six episodes of Season 2. That's the groove where we want to be. The character relationships were up front. The mystery was there, but it wasn't too complicated."
