'Enterprise' Picks Up Pair Of Writers
Writers best known for their Star Trek books
It has been rumored that prominent Star Trek authors Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens have been hired on as story editors for "Star Trek: Enterprise."
The authors, probably known best for their "Captain Kirk" series, which they co-wrote with William Shatner, are two of Star Treks most prominent and popular authors. The Reeves-Stevens could be a part of new executive producer Manny Cotos plan to further tie in "Star Trek: Enterprise" with its predecessors.
The Reeves-Stevens also are known for other Star Trek titles including "Prime Directive," "Federation," and "Memory Prime" among others. They have written several non-fiction Star Trek titles including "The Making of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine."
Outside of Star Trek, they have written for several television series such as "Batman: The Animated Series" as well as several non-Star Trek novels.
This report has not been confirmed by Paramount Television, so should be treated as any other rumor would.
