Rosenbaum Moves To The Dark Side
'Smallville' actor shares his thoughts on Lex Luthor
Over the last three years, weve seen him slowly progress to the dark side. This season will see Lex Luthor take one step closer.
Speaking at The WB network's fall press preview in Los Angeles, Michael Rosenbaum shared his thoughts on the character he potrays in "Smallville."
"Oh, Lex is going to hell, he's going to become his father," Rosenbaum said. "We know that's going to happen. Lex is doing everything in his power to stay on track, to be the good guy, to fight the powers of evil. But you know what? Sometimes it's just inevitable. There's nothing you can do about it, right?"
Rosenbaum also revealed that he will head to the shows location in Vancouver, B.C., to begin filming for the season, but remained tight-lipped about anything specific we could expect to see on the upcoming fourth season. The only thing he revealed was that his first scene would be filmed in a jet.
But where does Rosenbaum want to take the Luthor character?
"I hope they let Lex make out with Lana," Rosenbaum joked. "I doubt that's going to happen, but you never know. Because you know what? I think Lex is a good kisser, and I think Lana needs to learn."
"Smallville" begins its fourth season on Sept. 22 on The WB.
