Fans Overwhelmingly Want 'Enterprise' Back
Record number for a series to return in USA Today survey
While it's hardly scientific, it seems that "Star Trek: Enterprise" fans want UPN to bring the struggling series back for a fourth season.
According to the seventh annual USA Today Save Our Shows survey, 70 percent of fans said that they wanted to see Star Trek return. The newspaper said that the record number came in part because of organized fan efforts.
"Enterprise" beat out Fox's "Arrested Development" and Fox's "Tru Calling," which only got 36.5 percent and 28 percent of the vote respectively.
USA Today said that more than 43,200 ballots were cast, many of them online. The three series along with "The District" on CBS won more votes to support than to dismiss.
The results rarely determine fates of shows, since networks depend more on ratings, scheduling and financial concerns.
