Could First 'Angel' Movie Come In September?
PLUS: Eliza Dushku might reprise Faith character
Although The WB seems to be quick to get rid of "Angel," apparently, the next television season on the network could open with the first of a series of television movies based on the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" spinoff.
According to Mediasharx, the first telemovie could include Eliza Dushku's Faith character, but could be done without co-creator Joss Whedon.
"The WB is working on a new standalone telemovie ... to air tentatively in September," a source told the Web site. "The first two-hour pic is going to essentially launch the series as a sequence of films -- different villain, different storyline, each one."
The first movie will apparently pick up where the series finale will let off, which apparently will include a cliffhanger.
Future movies could come every six months.
