'Lost In Space' Has Been Casted

Some new faces, and one or two familiar, will be part of cast

The WB is moving real fast into making the pilot for the "Lost In Space" series remake, announcing that it had made some major casting decisions for the project.

Brad Johnson has been brought in as John Robinson, while Ryan Malgarini will take on the popular role of Will Robinson. They join Jayne Brook, Mike Erwin and Adrianne Palicki.

Johnson was voted one of the 50 Most Beautiful People by People Magazine in 1990. The 44-year-old also appeared in the "Left Behind" movie series Rayford Steele, as well as 1993's "Philadelphia Experiment 3." He made a guest appearance in "The Outer Limits" in 2000 in the episode "Manifest Destiny."

Malgarini, 11, appeared in the recent "Freaky Friday" remake. He also guest-starred in "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Gilmore Girls."

Brook, 41, will play the Jupiter 2's matriarch. She played Jamie Avery in the Fox series "John Doe," and also played Deputy Mayor Mary Ann Mitchell in "The District." She also appeared in "Gattaca" and "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace." Her television work includes "Without A Trace" and "L.A. Law."

Erwin, 25, played the teenaged Bruce Banner in the most recent "The Hulk" movie. He is best known for his recurring role as Colin Hart in "Everwood."

Palicki is a newcomer to the world of television and movies, well at least as far as we can tell, unless she's also been credited as "Annie Palicki" in the past. According to Internet Movie Database, Annie Palicki "Getting Back Rachel" and "Rewrite" in 2003.
