'Carnivale' Earns Cinematography Nods
HBO show recognized for its camera work
While recognition of the HBO series "Carnivale" has received little notice in the heavy awards season so far, the American Society of Cinematographers finally have given it its due.
"Carnivale" is up for two nominations in the group's three categories. Awards will be handed out Feb. 8.
Jeffrey Jur was one of the nominees for his episode, "Pick A Number." Also nominated was Tami Reiker, whose work on the series pilot earned her recognition in the basic or pay cable movie/miniseries/pilot category.
