Leno Appearance Brings Farscape News
Looks like miniseries will be happening
Rumors are growing over a possible "Farscape" miniseries, and after some of the series principle people made a recent stop on the "Tonight Show With Jay Leno," it looks as if some of those questions might be answered.
Please note that none of the following information has been confirmed, so treat it as any rumor would be treated.
According to the poster LAScaper, on the Save Farscape message boards, RaeLee Hill (Sikozu) said that there was quite a bit for fans to be excited about.
According to Hill, all the Farscape actors are on hold. It is not clear if this includes Virginia Hey, who played Zhaan in the beginning of the series. Also, studio space in Sydney, Australia has been reserved for December, January and February and that sets are being built now.
Also, Hill said that it looks like the Jim Henson Co. is looking at doing a three-part miniseries as well as a feature movie combination, although none of that is set in stone. Finally, she said that she is aware that series star Ben Browder (Capt. John Crichton) has signed something -- possibly a letter of intent -- but she is not sure exactly what it was.
A press conference with "Farscape" officials has been scheduled for this week, postponed from last week, and an official announcement of whatever is planned is expected to be made at that time.
