Radcliffe To Continue As Harry Potter

Expects to be in Goblet of Fire

While it might seem more people are worried about what Ben Affleck and J-Lo are going to do next, one small report that continues to like to make its rounds around the Internet is that the main cast of the Harry Potter films won't be around much longer.

But Daniel Radcliffe, who stars as Harry Potter himself, says he expects to be around for a little while yet.

"At the moment, I am working on 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,' and I will certainly make 'Goblet of Fire,'" Radcliffe recently told the official Harry Potter site. "After that? Who knows."

Radcliffe had some good things to say about Alfonso Cuaron, who came in to replace Chris Columbus as the director of the third film.

"Chris is, without doubt, the most energetic director I have ever met," he said. "He was amazing in keeping us motivated, and in encouraging us every step of the way. The scenes in this film are some of the most passionate and emotional I have ever worked on, and Alfonso's style has been very helpful to me."

"Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," based on the third book in the Harry Potter series, and the third movie in the series, is expected to be released sometime in early 2004.
