'Enterprise' To Get Second FutureGuy?

SPOILERS: Xindi have a few tricks up their sleeve, too

This report contains moderate spoilers.

Brannon BragaHard to have a Cold War if there isn't two sides to the conflict. But it looks like UPN's "Star Trek: Enterprise" finally will have two sides to the Temporal Cold War, that was first introduced in the series pilot, "Broken Bow," two years ago.

According to an interview in TV Guide, executive producer Brannon Braga said that a new faction in the Cold War will come up in the third season of "Enterprise."

"We have some major revelations coming up later in the season about our FutureGuy and the Xindi's FutureGuy, because they have one, too," Braga said. "Whether or not we will reveal their identities, we haven't gotten that far yet."

The statements were made as part of a recent TV Guide feature on "returning favorites," which also talked about the impending showdown between "Enterprise" on UPN and "Smallville" on The WB, which officially begins Oct. 1.

"If there is a Superman cult overlap, this struggling Star Trek prequel could be in real trouble," TV Guide said.
