They've both been filming the latest comic book adventure, "The Punisher," in Tampa, Fla., but it looks like two film companies might be getting closer than ever before.

According to the New York Post, Marvel Enterprises -- best known for its properties like Spider-Man, the Hulk and more -- may work with Miramax to buy Artisan Entertainment, probably best known for "The Blair Witch Project."

It is unclear how far the purchase has proceeded, and what exactly will be affected, but the new company -- if it is formed -- is said to be able to rival its competition with people like former USA Films chairman Scott Greenstein at the helm.

Filming continues in Tampa for "The Punisher," starring Thomas Jane and John Travolta, which is expected to be released in April.
