New Director For Potter IV?
Would make third director in four movies
Maybe Alfonso Cuaron's stint with Harry Potter will be shorter than realized.
Rumors are circulating this week that Mike Newell, best known for director "Four Weddings and a Funeral," could be in line to direct the fourth Harry Potter film, "Goblet of Fire," according to a report in Variety.
Warner Bros. apparently is trying to work out a deal with Newell for the film, which is scheduled to be released in 2005.
Filming of the third movie under Cuaron, best known for "Y Tu Mama Tambien," currently is under way, and is set for a June 4 release. Chris Columbus directed the first two installments.
