'Hulk' Plummets At Box Office

Film suffers a 70 percent drop

The honeymoon for "The Hulk" ended before it could really get off the ground.

While comic book movies made somewhere around $100 million before the second weekend even had a chance to start, the Ang Lee picture hasn't had similar success as the high-budget film suffered a 70 percent drop in box office receipts, barely taking in half the weekend box office that "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" did, as it took over the top spot. "The Hulk" finished with $18.4 million, bringing its two-week total to just $100.2 million. It finished second to the "Charlie's Angels" sequel, that grabbed $38 million on its opening weekend.

Both "X2: X-Men United" and "The Matrix Reloaded" have fallen out of the top 10.
