David Boreanaz is making the move to the silver screen, but is leaving his pointed teeth at home.

TV Guide is reporting that the "Angel" star will be playing the lead bad guy in the upcoming "The Crow" sequel, "The Crow: Wicked Player."

This is the fourth film in the Crow movie series, which started in 1994 and was marred by the tragic death of star Brandon Lee on the set.

"I didn't even know there was a third (Crow movie)," Boreanaz said.

The film, which also stars Dennis Hopper and Eddie Furlong ("Terminator 2: Judgment Day"). It is being directed by Lance Mungia, who also co-wrote the film with Jeff Most and Sean Hood.

The film is deep in pre-production, but is expected to be released sometime in 2004. According to Internet Movie Database, shooting for the fourth Crow film will take place in Capetown, South Africa as well as Lake City, Utah.
