'Smallville' Gets 2 Years
Strong commitment by The WB
There will be plenty of Superman to go around for a while.
Among the six series that The WB network greenlighted for another season, it gave "Smallville" not just one season -- but two. At least as long as the ratings are good.
According to Sci-Fi Wire and Variety, "Smallville" co-creators Al Gough and Miles Millar signed a two-year agreement with Warner Bros. to continue the show. The contract also exclusively bound the two creators to The WB, while still allowing them to write feature film screenplays.
The show currently airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The WB.
