Logan Writing Romulans For ENT?
New 'Gladiator 2' film could interfere, however
After spending so much time strengthening the Romulans for the upcoming movie "Star Trek: Nemesis," Brannon Braga said that Oscar-nominated screenwriter John Logan might be showing up on the set of the UPN series "Enterprise" to help create Romulans of 200 years in the past.
"He's told me that [he'd be interested], and we'll see because he's a busy guy," Braga -- executive producer of "Enterprise" -- recently told Cinescape. "I have a feeling that when we ask him, 'Are you ready?' he'll probably be writing (Steven) Spielberg's new movie and not have time."
Braga was referring to the recently announced Dreamworks production of "Gladiator 2," the sequel to the 2000 Oscar-winning film which Logan was part of the writing team. Logan has been named as a the sole writer to pen the first draft of the new script.
"We'd be thrilled to have John do some work on 'Enterprise.' He's been a big supporter of 'Enterprise' and really has had some great input over the season. In terms of actually doing any real work on the show, we'll have to see what his schedule is."
Braga said fans should expect an early, deadly brush with the Romulans early this current season on the UPN series.
